Family Learning - Buckinghamshire Adult Learning

Family Learning

The Family Learning team run a variety of courses and workshops for schools and family centres across Buckinghamshire.

Our courses are designed to help parents understand how they can best support their children throughout their Early Years and School, while also developing their own skills at the same time.

Our courses are designed for parents who are thinking about returning to learning, those feeling under confident in supporting their child with homework or with the new teaching methods used in schools, or those who are looking to boost their skills in preparation for returning to work.

In family centres we offer courses in ‘Supporting your Child in Nursery and Reception’, ‘Play and Language’ and ‘Budgeting’ to name a few. In schools we offer courses in English, Maths, Science and Internet Safety.  All our courses are designed to give you more confidence in supporting your child at home and where appropriate, make homework fun!

All of our courses lead to a better understanding of your role as a parent, which can lead to improvements in your own skills for life and work.
